赵颖，笔名石趣，1949 年生于安徽颖上，长于淮南。他自幼喜爱艺术，早年曾受教于安徽艺术学院美术系，师从安徽著名山水画家郭公达、朱松发先生。九十年代初，赵颖移居北京从事职业书画创作，并先后拜著名画家官布先生为师，同时受到秦岭云、黄润华先生的教诲和指导，受益匪浅。现为中国少数民族美术促进会。会员、北京美术家协会会员、安徽美术家协会会员、中国东方文化研究会国画研究员、美丽中国栏目组特邀导师、孔子奖章组织委员会艺术研究员。中国通俗文艺研究会理事。
