摘要：文化是一个国家、一个民族的灵魂。文化兴国运兴，文化强民族强。没有高度的文化自信，没有文化的 繁荣兴盛，就没有中华民族的伟大复兴。文化更是一个民族的脊梁和灵魂，它铸造着 国家和民族的心灵和品格，一个民族有了文化自信，才能立于世界民族之林;人民有了信仰，国家才有力量，民族才有希望。而文化自信是促成这些目标的至关重要的因素。

寇子皓，1953年生于昆明。1970年拜云南著名山水画家阎甫先生为师系统学习传统山水画，对石涛、髡残和元人山水均有研究学习。上世纪90年代，带着逐渐成熟的山水画技法走进生活，开始踏上漫长的写生之路，对云南茶马古道沿途风光情有独钟，写生、收集了大量云岭山水风光资料，形成了以描绘茶马古道为题材的山水画风格，作品受到社会的广泛关注。作品被各类报刊杂志等刊登发表，山水画作品《银杏村之秋》在第十三届纽约世界艺术博览会上获金奖，山水画作品《乌蒙烟云》被意大利阿尔贝蒂娜国立美术学院美术馆收藏。现为中国国家画院艺术顾问、文化部文化艺术人才中心艺术顾问等职务。
