郭银峰，1949年生于甘肃庆阳。1968年参军，先后在西藏军区、成都军区、解放军西安第二炮兵工程学院、解放军西安政治学院工作，正团职，上校军衔。1994年转业后供职于陕西省人大办公厅，任厅级巡视员。现为亚洲书画家协会副主席，胡润国际书画艺术鉴定中心副主席，全国书画艺术委员会副主席，中央美院客座教授，中国国家高级美术师，国家特级书法师，西北书画研究院院长，英国牛津艺术学院客座教授博士生导师，陕西省人民政府参事室文史馆研究员，亚洲博鳌艺术中心研究员。郭银峰自幼酷爱书画，书法临学《勤礼碑》《曹全碑》《兰亭序》等。得原陕西省书协主席刘自犊老先生的悉心指导，尤擅行草；美术方面，起初学油画，擅长人物、风景。1986年油画《放学以后》获全国美术大赛二等奖。1988年开始中国画的学习和研究，得到原中国美术家协会副主席刘文西精心指点，山水、人物、花鸟皆能。国画《黄河颂歌》获2002年汉城世界杯足球赛国际书画大展最高奖“国际功勋奖”。2002年出版个人书画专集，2006年出版《郭银峰写梅专集》。郭银峰作品油画《放学以后》获 1988年全国书画展一等奖。国画《黄河颂歌》获 2002年韩国国际书画大赛最高奖“国际功勋奖”。国画《梅花寒香图》2009年获全国国画展一等奖。国画《我的同学》获2010年全国第十四届大地之歌书画展一等奖。

Guo Yinfeng was born in Qingyang, Gansu in 1949. He joined the army in 1968 and successively worked in the Xizang Military Region, the Chengdu Military Region, the Second Artillery Engineering College of the People's Liberation Army, and the Xi'an Political College of the People's Liberation Army. After changing jobs in 1994, he worked at the Office of the Shaanxi Provincial People's Congress as a department level inspector. I am currently the Vice Chairman of the Asian Calligraphers and Painters Association, Vice Chairman of the Hurun International Calligraphers and Painters Art Appraisal Center, Vice Chairman of the National Calligraphers and Painters Art Committee, Visiting Professor at the Central Academy of Fine Arts, National Senior Artist of China, National Special Grade Calligraphy and Painting Master, Dean of the Northwest Calligraphers and Painters Research Institute, Visiting Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at the Oxford University of the Arts in the UK, Researcher at the Cultural and Historical Museum of the Shaanxi Provincial People's Government Counselor's Office, and Researcher at the Boao. Guo Yinfeng has had a passion for calligraphy and painting since childhood, and has been studying calligraphy such as the Qinli Stele, Cao Quan Stele, and Lanting Preface. Under the careful guidance of Mr. Liu Zidu, the former chairman of the Shaanxi Provincial Book Association, he is particularly skilled in cursive writing; In terms of art, I started as a beginner in oil painting and am skilled in figures and landscapes. In 1986, the oil painting "After School" won the second prize in the National Art Competition. I started studying and researching Chinese painting in 1988 and received careful guidance from Liu Wenxi, former Vice Chairman of the China Artists Association. I am proficient in landscapes, figures, flowers, and birds. The traditional Chinese painting "Ode to the Yellow River" won the highest award of the "International Merit Award" at the 2002 Seoul World Cup International Painting and Calligraphy Exhibition. In 2002, he published a personal collection of calligraphy and painting, and in 2006, he published "Guo Yinfeng's Plum Blossom Collection". Guo Yinfeng's oil painting "After School" won the first prize at the 1988 National Painting and Calligraphy Exhibition. The traditional Chinese painting 'Ode to the Yellow River' won the highest award of the 2002 Korean International Painting and Calligraphy Competition, the 'International Merit Award'. The traditional Chinese painting "Cold Fragrance of Plum Blossoms" won the first prize at the National Chinese Painting Exhibition in 2009. The traditional Chinese painting 'My Classmate' won the first prize at the 14th National Land Song Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition in 2010.
In 2011, Guo Yinfeng held a personal calligraphy and painting exhibition and a high-level art seminar calligraphy and painting exhibition at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing. In 2012, Guo Yinfeng held a calligraphy and painting exhibition at the Louvre Museum in France, which was highly praised by international friends. In 2021, he was awarded the titles of "Excellent Artist of the Motherland", "Model of Calligraphy and Painting Art", "People's Artist of Virtue and Art" for the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, "Master of World Cultural and Artistic Images", "Representative Figure of China's National Art Image", "Meritorious Figure of China", "Master of the First Generation of Art" and other honorary titles.
