Yang Fucai, born in Wanzai, Jiangxi in 1950, with the stage name Jianqing, has left a significant mark in the fields of education and art with his outstanding artistic achievements and profound academic attainments.
As a professor at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, he has served as the head of the Department of Literature and Arts and the vice dean of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences. In these positions, he is committed to cultivating generation after generation of artistic talents with a high sense of responsibility and mission. He used his wisdom and talent to open the door to art for his students, leading them into the hall of art. His teaching philosophy is advanced, emphasizing the combination of theory and practice, cultivating numerous outstanding art practitioners, and making indelible contributions to the development of China's art education.
