张永金,1943年生,江苏张家港人。1985年经李铎,夏湘平老师介召加入中国书法家协会,现为国家一级书法师,国礼艺术家,金砖艺术家,国务外交礼品师,国宾礼特邀艺术顾问,全国书画艺术委员会副主席,央广国际文化交流艺术委员会副主席,博鳌亚洲艺术人才研究会副主席,中国将军书画研究院执行院长,中国国艺人民书画院名誉院长。牛津艺术学院特聘教授,《书法字海》和《书法大字典》编审委员。2023年以来受聘全国艺术职称考级中心首席专家,国艺委书画艺术博物馆名誉馆长,中国企业文化促进会高级艺术顾问,国智办文化研究院副院长。
早在2001年就在中国美术馆举办个展並获中央电视台和中央人民广播电台新闻报道。多次参加国际国内大型书展,入选多种书法辞典和国内外大型邮册,刻石多处并见门牌匾额。有《题字书法艺术》《张永金书法艺略》《张永金书法精品集》等著作出版,其中《题字书法艺术》被誉为“实乃填补署书理论空白之举”。有视频《中国文化人物张永金》《中国艺术大家张永金》等在线播放。
他自筹经费组织将军书画研究院,为研究中国古今将军书画的形成发展开拓了视野,为退休老将军学研书画,交流文化,改善文化生活创造了条件,提供了方便。他创办的院刋《将军书画研究》已出刋156期,在老同志中产生较大影响,是老同志们学习书画,交流书画的良师益友。
他热心公益,多次组织脤灾笔会,将拍卖所得全部捐献给受灾地区。他组织书画研究院与爱心人士联合发起向革命老区捐赠将军希望小学的活动,受到社会的广泛关注,为改善教学条件,促进教育公平,提高教育质量起到了促进作用。
张永金曾获全国百杰书画家,和谐中国十大公益艺术家,德艺双馨书画名家,中国书画名人百杰,中华人民共和国书法大家,全球十大杰出风云人物,大红袍艺术家等荣誉。还获得国家文化艺术奖,国家文艺泰斗丰碑奖,中国书画终身成就奖,共和国艺术名家成就奖,世界华人艺术金奖,达芬奇国际艺术终身成就奖,莫奈国际艺术奖金奖,联合国文化艺术勋章等。
Zhang Yongjin, born in 1943, is from Zhangjiagang, Jiangsu. In 1985, he was invited by teachers Li Duo and Xia Xiangping to join the Chinese Calligraphers Association. He is currently a national first-class calligrapher, a national gift artist, a BRICS artist, a national diplomatic gift teacher, a special art consultant for national guest gifts, vice chairman of the National Calligraphy and Painting Art Committee, vice chairman of the Central Radio International Cultural Exchange Art Committee, vice chairman of the Boao Asian Art Talent Research Association, executive director of the Chinese General Calligraphy and Painting Research Institute, and honorary director of the Chinese National Art People's Calligraphy and Painting Academy. Distinguished Professor at Oxford College of Art, member of the editorial committee for "Sea of Calligraphy Characters" and "Calligraphy Dictionary". Since 2023, he has been appointed as the Chief Expert of the National Art Title Examination Center, Honorary Director of the Calligraphy and Painting Art Museum of the National Arts Commission, Senior Art Advisor of the China Enterprise Culture Promotion Association, and Vice President of the Cultural Research Institute of the State Intellectual Property Office.
As early as 2001, he held a solo exhibition at the National Art Museum of China and received news coverage from CCTV and China National Radio. I have participated in numerous international and domestic book fairs, and have been selected for various calligraphy dictionaries and large postage stamps both domestically and internationally. I have engraved many stones and have seen doorplates and plaques. Works such as "The Art of Inscription Calligraphy", "Zhang Yongjin's Calligraphy Art Brief", and "Zhang Yongjin's Calligraphy Collection" have been published, among which "The Art of Inscription Calligraphy" is praised as "filling the theoretical gap in calligraphy". He self funded the establishment of the General Calligraphy and Painting Research Institute, which broadened his horizons for studying the formation and development of ancient and modern Chinese general calligraphy and painting, created conditions for retired generals to learn calligraphy and painting, exchange culture, and improve cultural life, and provided convenience. The publication he founded, "Research on General Calligraphy and Painting," has published 156 issues and has had a significant impact among senior comrades. It is a good teacher and friend for senior comrades to learn calligraphy and painting and exchange ideas.
He is enthusiastic about public welfare and has organized disaster relief pen clubs multiple times, donating all proceeds from auctions to disaster stricken areas. He organized the Calligraphy and Painting Research Institute and philanthropists to jointly launch the activity of donating General Hope Primary School to revolutionary old areas, which received widespread attention from society and played a promoting role in improving teaching conditions, promoting educational equity, and enhancing educational quality.
Zhang Yongjin has been honored with the titles of National Top 100 Calligraphers and Painters, Top 10 Public Welfare Artists of Harmonious China, Renowned Calligraphers and Painters of Virtue and Art, Top 100 Chinese Calligraphers and Painters, Calligraphy Master of the People's Republic of China, Top 10 Outstanding Figures in the World, and Great Red Robe Artist. He has also won the National Cultural and Art Award, the National Literary and Artistic Master Monument Award, the Lifetime Achievement Award for Chinese Painting and Calligraphy, the Achievement Award for Famous Artists of the Republic, the World Chinese Art Gold Award, the Leonardo da Vinci International Art Lifetime Achievement Award, the Monet International Art Award Gold Award, and the United Nations Cultural and Art Medal.
